The Winery Series

This series will be on display at the Johnston Winery Cellar Door, Oakbank (Adelaide Hills) as apart of 2011 SALA Festival. Inspiration for this series came from time spent working at and visiting wineries and vineyards.

Some of the day to day scenes I have recorded using old and unusual glass and framing them in French Oak Staves. The Staves have been in tanks of Shiraz, Cabernet and Chardonnay for up to 18 months. Potassium Bitartrate leaves a crystal like form on the wood.
